I’m always coming across some interesting things either through my feeds, Twitter, friends, coworkers, etc. Below is what I’ve come across today alone. Enjoy :)
- Dieter Rams on Designing for Braun through the 60s (thanks to AisleOne via Twitter)
- A super adorable Panda Cake (from Japan) via Serious Eats.
- I’ve been romanticizing the idea of living in another country for quite some time now, so I live vicariously through a number of expat blogs. My favorite is probably Eat Your Kimchi, and they recently posted about their trip to Jejudo. I personally didn’t care for Jejudo, but their video was pretty entertaining.
- Another awesome post by Sea of Shoes. Those Givenchy heels and the Christopher Kane gorilla dress — to die for.
- A very classically chic (and adorable) man via The Sartorialist
- Had some tasty bqq over the weekend, though I can’t say it was as good as the places depicted on the Paupered Chef. My favorite type of bbq is probably North Carolina style for sure; I love that vinegar based sauce.
- Some grits love on the Amateur Gourmet. I can just dive into that pan of cheese grits.
- This weekend I’m planning to hit up some dumpling places in Flushing, Queens listed here. They have some of the best dumplings in the city. This past Sunday I tried White Bear, and it did not disappoint. So good. Wontons with chili oil and pickled vegetables — incredible combination of flavors.
